The firm was founded in 2012 by attorney-at-law Maciej Machlejd, who has many years of professional experience in real estate development companies, foreign funds and international law firms recognised by THE LEGAL 500 as experts in real estate law.
He has worked across all market sectors including the residential, logistics, hospitality, industrial, office and agricultural sector. He has advised on a wide range of projects including greenfield and brownfield developments, asset and share sales, leasebacks, construction contracts and asset management.
He has also worked as an in-house lawyer. He headed the legal department of one of the leading residential property developers in Poland. He also provided legal services to a Spanish fund managing shopping centres.
He has successfully represented clients before courts and administrative authorities, including winning precedent-setting spatial planning cases.
Prior to 2012, he worked as an expert in litigation, arbitration and European law at the Solicitors Office of the Republic of Poland, including foreign investor disputes under international investment protection agreements.

- BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE:
- He is a member of the District Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Warsaw.
- He graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. His Master's thesis was awarded and published by the Arbitration Court of the National Chamber of Commerce.
- He completed a one-year study abroad at the Faculty of Law of Aarhus Universitet in Denmark.
- He studied at the Warsaw School of Economics.
